No more boiling water in Narragansett and South Kingstown
Turns out there wasn’t any bacteria in the water after all. The Department of Health says its test results show the water systems in Narragansett and South Kingstown are perfectly safe. Residents can now stop boiling their tap water before they use it.
On Tuesday, the Health Department issued a precautionary boil water advisory because the water pressure levels in the town systems were so low. Low water pressure often pulls bacteria into the water.
