Something sure doesn’t seem right with this. What is the Health Department thinking on this? Sounds really fishy. The patients need this to happen ASAP.

The applications for the Compassion Centers exceeded our expectations. They were truly impressive. I have yet to hear a rationale explanation for the Health Department’s decision. It seems the Dept has lost the point of licensing Compassion Centers.
While the Dept. is ignoring the legislature’s mandate to license Compassion Centers, there are patients who are suffering with debilitating medical conditions. Some patients won’t live long enough to ever see a Compassion Center. Other patients are risking their safety by resorting to the streets and drug dealers.
Are we to believe that patients are being denied safe access to medicine because some Compassion Center applications had too many pages in their applications? Seriously?

There will be a rally in front of the Health Department on Monday at 12:30 pm to protest the Dept.’s decision.
