What Landmark documents reveal…
The letters from Landmark’s bidders to Judge Silverstein are rolling into my in box. Here’s what I’m learning-
1. RegionalCare Hospital partners tells the judge it has no hope of reaching an agreement with Landmark’s union. It says it will withdraw its bid unless Silverstein allows certain sections of its purchase agreement to last only 15 days (I’m assuming those are the ones regarding the union.)
2. Transition Health Care’s letter says it has reached an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield about reimbursement rates and figured out a tax plan with the city of Woonsocket. It still has some unresolved issues with Landmark’s Special Master around the purchase agreement.
3. Prime Health Care tells the judge it has an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, but one of the conditions of that agreement is currently beyond Prime’s control- that Landmark drop any lawsuits against the health insurer.
So, that’s what we’re working with right now. What do you think will happen?
